ABOUT ZAKARIA:
OUR OWN FROM ROSTOV
Graduated from the Rostov State Rachmaninoff Conservatory. Solo performances include programs with the Rostov Academic Symphony Orchestra on the stage of the Philharmonic Society. Holds second prize at the VI International String Competition in Togliatty. Currently, Mr. Enikeev is pursuing his bachelor of music degree at Juilliard School where he studies with Samuel Rhodes

Nazifa Karimova

We are very happy to announce that Mrs. Nazifa Karimova will be joining us to celebrate Mother's Day at ATA on 5/18/08.    She has been working as a Moscow reporter on Radio Liberty in Tatar language (Azatliq Radiosi) for fifteen years.  She is a novelist, dramatist, author of lyrics for the number of modern Tatar songs, the laureate of prestigious literature prize “Chrystal Feather”, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan, and also the Chair of the Moscow Tatar Intellectuals Club “Zyyalylar Cluby.”
Nazifa Karimova is the member of the Editorial Board of the “Syuyumbike” magazine and the Moscow newspaper “ Tatarskie novosti”. She will share with us her creative work and introduce us to the news of the cultural life of Tatars in Moscow and Kazan
